TACTIC (Towards co-evolution in human-technology interfaces)

Medical implants heal and contribute to quality of life, but often cause side effects in the human body, including implant failure. The 9 doctoral students at the TACTIC graduate school develop innovative solutions in interdisciplinary teams with expertise from medicine, medical technology, materials research, artificial intelligence, neuroscience and computer science.

The research program is funded by the state of Saxony-Anhalt (LSA) and the European Social Fund (ESF) until 2027 with a total budget of almost €4.1 million.
